Make a Gift, Change a Community

We make con­tribut­ing to SERA, Inc. sim­ple.  We pro­vide donors a num­ber of ways to make a con­tri­bu­tion to sup­port the agency and become an inte­gral part of the change occur­ring in the South­east Raleigh area.  You may sim­ply write a check, make a gift online, con­tribute gifts of stock, or match­ing gifts.

SERA, Inc. accepts con­tri­bu­tions of all types and will work with you and your finan­cial advi­sors to max­i­mize the value of your gift to the agency and fig­ure your tax ben­e­fits. Please call the office at 919–747-8420.

Con­tri­bu­tions of Stocks and Bonds

Spe­cial tax advan­tages are pro­vided with gifts of secu­ri­ties. To make a gift of stocks or bonds to the Col­lege, please callSERA’s office 919–747-8420 for trans­fer instructions.

Match­ing Gifts

Let us help you find out if your con­tri­bu­tion to SERA, Inc. can be mul­ti­plied by match­ing funds from your com­pany or foun­da­tion.  We will work with you or your company’s per­son­nel office to ascer­tain infor­ma­tion about its match­ing gift pol­icy deter­mine the pro­to­col as well as forms needed for you to mul­ti­ply your contribution.

IRA Char­i­ta­ble Roll-Overs

You can make a con­tri­bu­tion if you or some­one you know is at least age 70–1/2 own an IRA, rein­stated leg­is­la­tion allows you to once again ful­fill your char­i­ta­ble plans. This leg­is­la­tion eases income tax bur­dens typ­i­cally asso­ci­ated with IRAassets.  We will be happy to pro­vide you with addi­tional details.
